The
Interface between Materials and Medicine
Thursday 4th March 2010
Technium Springboard, Cwmbran
12:30 – 16:30
Replacement hip and knee joints have brought relief from pain to many in
recent years. Dental treatment
too has benefited from new materials and new technologies.
Underpinning these advances in the treatment of patients is research
into joint movement and other previously unexplored areas, since it’s only
by understanding the nature of the challenge that full benefit can be
derived from the novel materials that are available for use in these
applications. If you want to
learn more about the interface between medicine and materials as well as
European opportunities for technology transfer in this and many other
fields, make sure you register for this event by logging on to
www.mnw.org.uk and selecting the Diary
of Events.
